A little while back I made a post about my updated blogroll and I talked about a website called WoW Headlines. It’s a great website that lists a variety of blogs and the new posts from each of them listed by class. I go there all the time and HIGHLY recommend it.
There is a new kid on the block called Azeroth United that,
Welcome to Azeroth United. The purpose of this site is to be a hub for the Azeroth United World of Warcraft Internet Media Community. This community includes, but is not limited to:
- News Sites (like mmo-champion, wow.com, etc)
- Utility Sites (like wowhead.com)
Pretty much anything that exists on the web that is about WoW is a welcome part of this community.
It seems pretty kewl, hope it is kept up to date and continues to spread community interaction.
They are asking blogs to submit a Thumbnail for their blog, podcast, etc. with a size of 200×200. The wonderful Pugnacious Priest has made a great tutorial on how to build that thumbnail.
If you are a blogger or a podcaster or a uhm… someone who has a website of some sort to do with WoW then get a link up with Azeroth United to help those folks get the word out. Don’t forget to head over to WoW Headlines either if you have a blog and get added to that roster. It’s a great website as well.
Another great place is Blog Azeroth which… I’m not sure who runs it honestly. It’s a pretty good bloggers resource even if it kind of lowkey. I think it used to be run by Phaelia from Resto4Life, but she quit the game earlier this year so not sure who is keeping it going. There is also a lot of good old info on there as well for new (and old) bloggers alike.
There are tons of really good websites out there that give you links to resources on blogging OR give you a chance to find other blogs you didn’t even know you were searching for.
